Haji Shajruddin Siddiqui, Chairman & Founder of Shajar’s United Educational & Research Society (Regd.) was born 15 july 1943 at Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. He is the founder of the S.D. Electricals Engineering Works (Delhi), United Engineering Corporation (Ghaziabad), well-known establishments in the field of scientific instruments and engineering devices.

ELECTRON, established by him, is one of the most reputed brands in the field of scientific instruments and engineering devices. His service to the Nation for unconventional source of custom-built equipments from his vast knowledge of engineering as well as machines and equipments designing. His excellence performance runs under the banner of ELECTORN. A few visionaries and philanthropists under the able supervision and guidance of Mr. Shajruddin Siddiqui were behind this noble mission to establish the Shajar’s United educational & Research Society which took up to great task of promoting education as a prime mean for revival of the society. The society patronizes schemes in the field of Educational and Vocational Training.

               Our objective of opening United Technical Institute is providing technical manpower to industries. These persons are trained in basic skills required to do jobs of say operator or a craftsman. The course in ITI is designed in way to impart basic skill in the trade specified. After completion of desired period of training the person is eligible to appear in the AITT (All India Trade Test) conducted by NCVT ( National Council for Vocational training ). After successfully passing AITT, the person is awarded NATIONAL TRADE CERTIFICATE (NTC) in concerning trade by NCVT. After passing ITI course a person may opt to undergo practical training in his trade in an industry for a year or two. Vocational Training is a concurrent subject under the Constitution and the Central Government & States /U.T.s Governments share responsibility for effectively implementation of Craftsmen and Apprenticeship Training Scheme under Vocational Training System in the Country. Again the person has to appear & pass in a test to be conducted by NCVT to get the NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP CERTIFICATE. We impart training in technical trades like instrument mechanic, electrician, fitter, plumber, diesel mechanic, Computer Operator, Computer Hardware, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Turner, Welder, etc.

 

Aims & Objectives:

The main aim of the institute is to prepare expert technicians in various trades for quick employment in a job or vocation. Our team of experienced instructors, headed by competent principal, provides systematic training and cultivates a technical and industrial attitude in minds of trainees. We, thus ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades of domestic industry. This goes a long way in reducing unemployment among educated youths. The endeavor to groom our training to develop self confidence and inculcate in them a new zeal not only to become an expert technician but also to emerge as a responsible member of the social fabric dedicated to the task of nation building.
